Our First Online PET METAL AUCTION: Dec 1st-7th

Posted by on 2:59 pm in Neüterhead Events, News n Updates | Comments Off on Our First Online PET METAL AUCTION: Dec 1st-7th

We’d like to thank everyone who has helped Neüterhead in the past year by going to our grand opening, sending in donations, and buying our merch through our website or at 3 Inches of Blood shows. Our online auction will be our last fundraising push for the year, and we need your help getting items to auction off! We are looking for anything people into metal and pets would be into! Likely if you’re reading this, you have a pretty good idea of what that means: band merch, records, non-perishable pet supplies, rad artwork or prints, music gear, cool books… You get the idea! Items don’t need to be new, but we do ask that they be in good condition. Most items will be available to be bid on by anyone in any location, but we are also accepting donations specific to Vancouver, such as store gift certificates, concert tickets, or attraction passes. Items can be dropped off at Long Live Cats and Dogs at 2255 East Hastings Street in Vancouver, BC, or we can help you out by picking them up around Vancouver as well. We will gratefully accept donations from anywhere, however we are unable to pay for shipping of physical items. Please contact us and let us know if you have anything you’d like to donate! Thanks for the support, and stay...

Neüterhead is proud to announce that we have made our first donation to a spay/neuter cause! We have donated $5,000 to Spirit’s Mission, a volunteer group from Gabriola, BC who provide vet care and education to isolated communities in BC. Our donation will enable them to sterilize an estimate of 200 companion animals. Their goals are as follows… • To provide isolated First Nations communities with free or low cost sterilization and basic veterinary services, including vaccinations, de-worming and parasite control, for the community’s companion animals. • To provide humane animal welfare education on dog bite prevention. • To provide education that will enhance the lives of community animals. • To nurture the human/animal relationship and encourage responsible guardianship for dogs and cats. Thank you all for your support! We couldn’t have done it without you all making donations, purchasing merch, or attending a show! To learn more about Spirit’s Mission, please visit their website...

Posted by on 3:02 pm in Press | Comments Off on Article Article wrote an article about us! We didn’t think of it until it was mentioned in the article, but yea, a metal cover of that sappy ‘I Will Remember You’ song that plays on the SPCA commercials is totally in order. Read an excerpt below, or click here for the full article! Neüterhead: Ace of Spays, by Leyla Ford You know what’s the best thing in the world? Happy kitties and doggies! You know what’s the worst thing in the world? Sad kitties and doggies. And when kitties and doggies live on the street, that’s when they’re saddest. Cold, hungry, just trying to find the will to go on, dodging cars and coyotes, that’s no life for a kitty or doggy. Now you may not consider Bob Barker very metal but this organization does. So let’s all pledge to spay and neuter our kitties and doggies so none of them are sad and on the streets multiplying like bunnies. Who also need to be spayed/neutered. Cue the (metal cover) of that MSPCA Sarah McLachlan song. (Click here for the rest of the...
